Last night W.M., W. Bro. Sammy, officers and members welcomed two new Masons into West Gate Lodge. Bro. Gilliani is our newest affiliate while Bro. Robinson was initiated into our ancient fraternity in true West Gate excellence.

In addition to the above the brethren were treated to some timely Masonic education while at work, finishing with some great hospitality by the J.W. and his wife during the festive board.

Visit to St. Clair Lodge 135

Fourteen West Gate brethren led by W. Bro. Sammy traveled outside of our District for a fraternal visit with St. Clair Lodge 135 of Hamilton District "A". We were welcomed with open arms and even warmer hearts considering the frigid temperatures outside.

The evening became even more enchanting as the GM, M.W. Bro. Campbell with Hamilton District "A" DDGM R.W. Bro. Kirk honoured us all with their presence accompanied by several Board Members and past Grand Lodge Officers. The degree of the evening was an Initiation which saw Bro. Moore become the Lodge and District's newest Mason. The degree was flawless and I'm sure left a lasting impression not only the new Mason, but on all who had the honour of observing it.

The festivities continued into the banquet hour and everyone who had braved the chilly night's air to be at this Lodge left as usual with the warming fraternal glow of brotherhood.
