2015 Installation of the Worshipful Master and Installation of Officers

On June 10, Bro. Jeff Phoenix was Installed as WM and now occupies the Chair of Solomon at West Gate lodge. The Installing board led by his father and brother included our Grand Master, MW Bro. D. Campbell, PGM MW Bro. Groshaw, and DDGM RW Bro. Lawson. The WM had his family in attendance and made presentations to their husband, father, and son. The duly elected and appointed officers for the ensuing Masonic year were invested and assumed their new chairs.

The evening began with a delicious dinner accompanied by the now "not for prime time players" as they roasted the WM elect in true classic West Gate 734 fashion.

Congratulations to W. Bro. Phoenix and his officers as we look forward to another exciting time for West Gate.

Bread and Honey Festival 2015

Members of West Gate and River Park once again united forces to man the beverage tent at the annual Bread & Honey Festival in Streetsville. The MasoniChip program was also on hand at the festival once again to protect our most cherished children also coordinated by Bro. Bugley, members, family and friends from the district of Toronto West.

The weather behaved itself after the cooler temperatures on Friday night which saw sunnier and warmer weather for the Saturday and Sunday bringing in record numbers slightly higher than previous years. Thanks to all the brethren and friends that volunteered at this years festival and we look forward to seeing you all again in June of 2016.
