Last night the lodge hosted its first regular meeting of the new Masonic year.
Bro. Robinson did an excellent job. His preparation and strong public speaking skills were obvious. It was very exciting to see the new officers in their chairs and many members taking on new pieces of the work.
Congratulations to our lodge members led by W.Bro. Franklin whose determination to update the Lodge Room has started to come to fruition. The fresh coat of paint on the west wall was stunning to see. Please support him with donations of time and money as he continues this exciting venture which is expected to be completed in the near future.
Of note during the evening was Bro. Secretary’s report on the current situation with the Temple Board. They are now meeting monthly with several major projects in progress. Routine and necessary maintenance tends to go unnoticed by the Temple users. However, repairs and cosmetic updating of the banquet hall is something we have all been looking forward to for a long time.
