The District Charity Theatre Night Thursday Jan 24, 2013 for Sick Kids Hospital at Meadowvale Theatre was a huge success.
Congatulations to Bro. Tom who through his determined efforts sold 46 tickets; the most in the District! All of the money was donated to charity so way to go West Gate. $920 raised for Sick Kids Hospital.

This is the groundbreaking show and winner of seven Tony Awards that defined musical theatre for a generation. Past and present, dreams and reality collide for one triumphant, haunting and unforgettable night when former members of the “Weismann’s Follies” reunite on the eve of their theatre’s demolition. It’s the early 1970s and the Wesimann Theatre in New York is about to be demolished. Before the wrecking ball transforms the theatre into a parking lot, a reunion is taking pace for members or the Weismann Follies. As the evening goes on, the former performers relive many of their past experiences, both good and bad. Sally, a former Follie, meets the man that she’s always loved, Ben, and the two middle-aged people end up kissing. By the end of the night though, they each go back to their respective spouses and the various Follies continue on with their lives. Book by James Goldman, Music and Lyrics by Stephen Sondheim.
