After the meeting down in the banquet room, the members were treated to the Lodge's second annual Chili Cook-off. The bean-buccaneers served up a tantalizing selection of Chilies that varied from vegetarian, meat, and even a recipe that had it's origins from Ireland during the Tomato famine. I believe I tasted Guinness! For the second year straight our IPM took the coveted trophy home for winning the prestigious "Chili Bowl".
The February Regular Meeting was focused on education with some members of the York Rite (RAM), and Scottish Rite giving a presentation on the principals of their respective orders, their ties to Craft Masonry plus the charitable work that they organize within the community. This gave the Mason a different point of view of the concordant bodies outside the Craft.
